An invitation is a simple thing,
but it holds so much value. And maybe a few surprises.

The table nomos

νόμος / nomos

The ancient Greeks had a word, νόμος (nomos), meaning law, custom, convention, or social order. For our first table, we have adopted a few of our own.

  • 1. Have fun.
  • 2. Find out who people are, not what they are.
  • 3. Work/shop talk is banned unless it is funny or interesting.
  • 4. Make room. Pull quieter people into the conversation.
  • 5. Phones down between courses. Ask before photos.
The aim: arrive with one small piece of yourself already on the table.
Some things to consider and share

Share a little. Keep it short.

All answers are anonymous. Your answers will be shared with one other person at the table.

The Greeks believed conversation revealed character, so keep your written answers short. Even a word may suffice.

Your invite link carries a Greek token so we can make the anonymous swap work.

See you Sunday

Looking forward to the first table.
